One of the premier offerings of River Raiders Expeditions is a canoe (or kayak) trip up the majestic Allagash River. Located in the heart of the Great North Maine Woods, this river is a sight to behold and an experience you will never forget.

Allagash wilderness waterway Expedition
We offer 4–6-day trips along the Allagash River, accommodating groups of up to ten people. When you book an Allagash expedition, we work closely with you during the planning stage to design a great meal plan, help you with a gear list, and iron out all the small details. This ensures that you can start the trip with confidence, knowing everything is well-organized and carefully thought out.
- Day 1- Travel Day, drive to Churchill Dam, camp out at the Churchill camp site.
- Day 2- Begin River trip, paddle, fish, camp.
- Day 3- Paddle, fish, camp.
- Day 4- Paddle, fish, camp.
- Day 5- Paddle, fish, camp.
- Day 6- Paddle, fish, camp.
- Day 7- Paddle, fish, end river trip and spend the night in Ft. Kent.
- Day 8- Travel Day, drive home.
- Day 1- Travel Day, drive to Umsaskis Thoroughfare, camp out at long lake camp site (short paddle to the camp site)
- Day 2- Begin River trip, paddle, fish, camp.
- Day 3- Paddle, fish, camp.
- Day 4- Paddle, fish, camp.
- Day 5- Paddle, fish, camp.
- Day 6- Paddle, fish, end river trip and spend the night in Ft. Kent.
- Day 7- Travel Day, drive home.
- Day 1- Travel Day, drive to Henderson brook bridge, camp out at round pond camp site (short paddle to the camp site)
- Day 2- Extra day of fishing at Round Pond.
- Day 3- Begin river trip, Paddle, fish, camp.
- Day 4- Paddle, fish, camp.
- Day 5- Paddle, fish, end river trip and spend the night in Ft. Kent.
- Day 6- Travel Day, drive home.
- Day 1- Travel Day, drive to Henderson brook bridge, camp out at round pond camp site (short paddle to the camp site)
- Day 2- Begin River trip, paddle, fish, camp.
- Day 3- Paddle, fish, camp.
- Day 4- Paddle, fish, end river trip and spend the night in Ft. Kent.
